So when I was growing up there really weren’t any books, television shows or movies that depicted grandfathers who looked like mine. I am so thrilled to find this book for Jazz. Her Papa Jack is a big wonderful part of her life and although she won’t meet her Papa Blyden or as we refer to him Black Papa, this book and books like it will mean a lot to her as she shapes her own identity, of this I am sure.
