Two Poems From Childhood

Both of these poems were written on July 18th, 1985 when I was eight years old. As you can see the Cold War had a bit of an effect on my childhood.

I love my Mom and Dad

And the world

And my Dog

I hope there is not a war

I hope the world never goes away.

When I was four

I liked hot dogs

Now I’m eight

And I hate hot dogs

When I was two

There was not a chance of war

But now I’m eight

And there might be a war!

Bye Bye now

I hope you have fun
